I remember the magic moments we shared;
Even though brief, we had not a care.

We were both swept up in a cloud of bliss,
never realizing how quickly it flew amiss.

We both held on - refusing to let go;
you knew in your heart it would be so.

I sensed it so suddenly, the change in the air

A friend is like an owl both beautiful and wise,
